Timber Tower 2

Timber Tower 2 is a high play-value centrepiece for any playground. It has a modern design, and packs a lot of vertical play in a small footprint.

Play Value

The flexibility and customizability of the Timber Towers make them amazing and versatile additions to any playground. Whether used alone, or connected to other towers via rope bridges, these structures introduce height and higher challenge climbing opportunities into the play area.

There are many options for access and egress including a climbing wall, transfer platform or slides. Slides can be either plastic or stainless steel.

Merits

The Timber Tower is a modern approach to playground towers, with vertical cladding on each side along with stainless steel mesh panels for visibility into the structure (and to see the amazing views!). The angled roof of the tower makes this a striking aesthetic addition to the playground.

Each side of the Timber Tower is customizable with a different means of access or egress. The combinations of features means this structure can accommodate many users at once, whether they’re exploring solo or playing in groups.

Materials

Timber Tower 2 is constructed with an Alaskan yellow cedar frame and Accoya roofing, cladding, and decking. All ropes are nylon-coated steel core, and nets have aluminum connectors at rope intersections. Slides are either plastic or stainless steel, depending on selection.

Accessibility

The ground level of Timber Tower 2 includes a Flexform ramp with attached Accoya boards for gripping. This provides an accessible route to the first platform.
