The Hedgehog shape is the perfect exterior for climbing. Stepped cladding and cut-outs create natural handholds and resting spots for children as they scale the exterior. The cut-outs also make fun shapes inside when the sunlight shines through. Children may slide down the front and jump off the nose! In plan-view, the tapering of the Hedgehog from back to front is visible.

Inside the Hedgehog is a flexform sling seat where children can sit, bounce, climb, or hide. Children can also reach up through the cutouts to suspend themselves inside. The tallest point of the Hedgehog is 6 feet.

Merits

Hedgehogs are gentle but protective spirit animals. They are nocturnal critters that love the garden and while they can roll up in a ball, this Hedgehog is out looking for children to play with!

The Hedgehog has one pre-designed multi-colour palette that is true-to-life. Clients can also choose an unstained version or select one stain colour to match a theme. The Hedgehog can be combined with Leaf Wobble Boards or Pine sculptures or almost any other Collections piece to create a garden themed playscape!

Materials

The Hedgehog is constructed with a marine-grade plywood frame and is cladded in Accoya. The interior sling seat is flexform rubber.
